Effie Awards Italy, entries open for the fifth edition of the award
Effie Awards Italy returns again in 2023 with a rich and tight schedule. Registration for the fifth edition of the award that enhances the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and communication performance, introduced in Italy through the joint action of UNA, Aziende della Comunicazione Unite, and UPA, officially opens on January 12.
Entries close on April 17. The last deadline to register projects at discounted prices is March 13th. The awards evening, with the live announcement of the Grand Effie, is scheduled for 12 September in Milan, at Villa Necchi Campiglio.

Federica Setti, GroupM Chief Research Officer, will chair this year's juries, made up of strategy experts, marketing managers and agency professionals, who will be engaged in May in evaluating the entered campaigns to define the finalists and in June for the final awarding of prizes to the winners.
The final jury for awarding the Grand Effie among the gold-winning campaigns will be held on the day of the awards ceremony, scheduled for September. Campaigns released in Italy in the period between January 1, 2022 and February 28, 2023, for which a clear definition of the strategy adopted, objectives and results achieved is required, are eligible for the award. The award is open to companies, agencies and media centers that can decide which categories to enter, prioritizing the areas they belong to or the objectives pursued.
The criteria by which campaigns will be judged will reflect international standards, as all winners of the local editions of the Effie Awards become part of the global ranking, the Effie World Index. In addition, for the first time this year, the winning campaigns will also have the opportunity to compete at the international editions of the award: at the European level with Effie Europe and at the global level with the competition to be held in the U.S. that will select the World Grand Effie from among all the bells that have won a gold in the 56 countries where the award is held.
